Faithful Friends: This friendly all-inclusive adult class is led by our Pastor, Chris Wilson, and chooses various timely topics and literature for discussion such as the novel ÒThe ShackÓ and more recently ÒActs for Everyone by N. T. Wright. An upcoming spring study will be based upon the book, ÒWhat Every Church Member Should Know about Poverty.Ó Activities beyond the Sunday Morning studies include quarterly social gatherings and the support of a family in need of food and financial aid.

Fellowship Class: This womenÕs class curriculum is the Adult Uniform Bible Study International Series presented by various members of the class and invited guests in both lecture and discussion methods. They are very active in the support of all programs of the church and several local missions with funds raised through an annual sale of pecans.

Lamplighters: The members of this class describe themselves as Òhearers and doers of the Word.Ó For singles and couples between the ages of approximately 40 to 75 the primary curriculum of this group is the Adult Uniform Bible Study International Series but the class also includes special studies such as Gregory and Susan JonesÕ book on forgiveness and the stewardship study, ÒThe Transformed Life.Ó The reconstruction of a hurricane-damaged home on the southern Caribbean island of Granada, construction of a porch of a chronically ill, medically fragile local citizen, and the insulation of a home before the onset of winter are a few of the local and global mission projects that the members of the class have supported. They also fund a scholarship in memory of a faithful class member for a deserving Wilkes Community College student.

MenÕs Bible Class: Using the Adult Bible Studies International curriculum members of this class rotate the teaching responsibilities monthly using lecture and discussion. Through several fund raising events this class supports our Scouting Program, Preschool, Habitat for Humanity, and the Church Emergency Fund for needy citizens of our community.  They  provide a church-wide breakfast the fourth Sunday of each month and every Sunday during the month of February.

Pairs Ôn Spares: This loving and supportive community of faith made up of singles and couples uses the Adult Uniform Bible Study  - International Series. This curriculum provides for a balanced look at the Bible through both Old and New Testament studies. Class members alternate teaching responsibilities and the presentations are followed by often lively discussions. This group is active in a variety of missions projects, locally, regionally and globally.

New Horizons: Described by its members as friendly and welcoming with a laid-back environment for singles or couples, this class uses the Adult Bible Studies supplemented with outside curriculum such as DVD or Book Studies. A rotating facilitator schedule allows for discussion filled lessons.  Additional activities include sponsorship of a preschool scholarship and organization of a Thanksgiving meal for needy families in the community.
