*Affirmation of Faith                                         The Nicene Creed

We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of

heaven and earth, of all that is seen and unseen.

We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God,

eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from

Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one

Being with the Father; through him all things were made.

For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven,

was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary and

Became truly human. For our sake he was crucified under

Pontius Pilate; suffered death and was buried. On the third

day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he

ascended into heaven and is seated on the right hand of the

Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and

the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,

who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the

Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified, who has

   spoken through the prophets.

We believe in the one holy catholic and apostolic church.

We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.

We look for he resurrection of the dead, and the life of the

   world to come. Amen.

*Gloria Patri

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy

Ghost; as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall

be, world without end. Amen. Amen.

*Psalm 63:1-8

         THANKSGIVING AND COMMUNION

Invitation: Christ our Lord invites to his table all who love him, who earnestly

repent of their sin and seek to live in peace with one another. Therefore,

let us confess our sin before God and one another.

Merciful God, we confess that we have not loved you

with our whole heart. We have failed to be an obedient church.

We have not done your will, we have broken your law, we have

rebelled against your love, we have

not loved our neighbors, and we have not heard the cry

of the needy. Forgive us, we pray. Free us for joyful

obedience, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

   Hear the good news: Christ died for us while we were yet sinners;

that proves GodÕs love toward us. In the name of Jesus Christ, you are forgiven!

In the name of Jesus Christ, you are forgiven! Glory to God. Amen.

Passing of the Peace

Let us offer one another signs of reconciliation and love.

Offertory Anthem         Communion Song                               Price and Besig

*Doxology

   Praise God from whom all blessings flow;

Praise God, all creatures here below:

   Praise him above ye heavenly hosts;

Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Amen.

   The Great Thanksgiving

         The Lord be with you.

         And also with you.

         Lift up your hearts.

We lift them up to the Lord.

Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.

It is right to give our thanks and praise.

It is right, and a good and joyful thing, Always and everywhere to give thanks to you,

Father Almighty, creator of heaven and earth.

Through Jesus Christ our Lord; who was tempted in every way as we are, yet did

not sin. By his grace we are able to triumph over every evil, and to live no longer

for ourselves alone, but for him who died for us and rose again.

And so with your people on earth and all the company of heaven, we praise

your name and join their unending hymn:

Holy are you, and blessed is your Son Jesus Christ . . .

And so, in remembrance of these your mighty acts in Jesus Christ,

we offer ourselves in praise and thanksgiving as a holy and living sacrifice, in

union with ChristÕs offering for us, as

we proclaim the mystery of faith.

Pour out your Holy Spirit on us gathered here, and on these gifts of bread and wine . . .

Through your Son Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit in your holy church,

all honor and glory is yours, almighty Father,

    now and for ever.
